Day Three: Anchorage

We started our day all excited about our trip to Hope, Alaska. Sadly, when we got to school we all found out that due to weather we would have to reschedule our trip. So we started our day as we always do, with a quick write, but this time in a sad mood. The quick write Ben had us do was "The Story Of Our Name" which I thought was fun and interesting. Next, we read a poem, "Where I'm From," by George Ella Lyon. After we read that we wrote our own "Where I'm From" poem.   -Jerry

Since they moved the trip to the next day, we went to the museum to see some interesting exhibits for a while and took notes on what we saw. I saw some new stuff there since the last time I went there, because it's been a few years since I've been there. After the museum, we all went to the batting cage and I'm not a huge baseball fan, so I never went in it, so I just watched other people bat. -Rylan
